Personal Support Worker – Diploma

Program Duration: 28 weeks – Diploma Program

Careers in healthcare, community and personal support are on the rise. The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Diploma prepares students for an exciting and fulfilling career providing care and support for those in need. Students will learn how to provide children, adults and the elderly with effective assistance in various aspects of their lives including personal care, hygiene, medication management, mobility and household management.

Students will learn basic nursing skills, standard first aid, and also gain Basic Rescuer (Level C) CPR Certification. With hands-on experience during a clinical placement students develop the skills required to provide long-term care and support to patients and individuals in need.
